A few months ago, I began offering online classes. Training with people from all over the world has been wonderful – sitting at my computer here in New Mexico, chatting about dog training with clients from Australia over South Africa to Italy and bringing our training approach to dog owners on different continents is fun and rewarding for me (trainers also need positive reinforcement!).

The by far most popular class (both in person and online) has been the indoor games class. I originally started it as a winter activity class, but it has since grown to be a curriculum for all seasons.

The class has games of all varieties – tricks, nosework, movement games, brain work – and every dog and owner soon find their very own favorites.

The games are games I play with my own dogs every day. I compiled them over time, living with two Border Collies definitely encourages one to find ways to keep them busy and entertained.

I send out the class work every week for five weeks via email. Those emails contain descriptions of the games, as well as videos of me showing them with different dogs.

There are two options:

• Auditor (receives all the course work and works through it by themselves)
• Participant (receives all the course work and can send videos and questions for feedback from me, and personalized versions of the games tailored to your dog’s skills)
