    Yes certainly something to chew on that is safe – any recommendations aside from the frozen Kong?

      You will probably be able to find reports of dogs getting hurt/choking/etc on any chew toy … which is why I am careful with giving other recommendations. Bully sticks are generally pretty good, and some dogs do well with deer antlers (though these can chip teeth) or cow hooves (these can splinter if the dog is a strong chewer). It will really depend on how strongly your dog chews. If your dog is a mild chewer pretty much most chew toys will be safe, but if your dog really crunches down on them most could potentially be unsafe without supervision …
