Here is our first example training session.

Please note: We cover many different types of reactivity (noise sensitivity, reactivity towards visitors, reactivity towards the TV, reactivity at the window, …) in later lessons. This is just a first example – we’ll have targeted exercises for your dog’s specific reactivity further down 🙂

Now it is time – we have learned all the theory we need to know about reactivity and are ready to start out training.

Here is an example of what the training will generally look like (boring).

Keep in mind that you are REHEARSING a new CER. If 40% of the session is the dog being near or over his threshold, he won’t really build any new CER (just enhance the old, negative one).

Good training with a reactive dog does not look like you are handling a reactive dog.
