Welcome to day 11 of our Daily Training Game videos! Today we want to teach our dog to do an easy behavior (jumping up on something) with more and more distance.

Distance skills training will keep you and your dog occupied indefinitely. The farther away the dog has to go to perform a behavior, the harder it becomes for him – because it is tricky for him to understand how that will work out.

If you think about it, the dog has to leave you and the reinforcement you have and walk away from it, only to earn it eventually. He really has to think outside the box!
